Tammy Sibert studied dance in the NYC and NJ area and is a graduate of Point Park College (now Point Park University), where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in dance. She has performed with Red Bank Ballet, Ballet Petrov, Pittsburgh Opera, and Kings Productions. Tammy has been a ballet instructor with HSD since 1995 and the Executive Director since 2010. She enjoys sharing her love of dance with all of the HSD dancers!
Carrie Montgomery began dancing at Hershey School of Dance at the age of 6 when HSD consisted of a total of 5 students. She served as the choreographer for nine Hershey High School musicals and spent many years as a fitness instructor. She currently teaches pilates at Half Moon Yoga Studio. Carrie teaches tap and HSD’s preschool class “Movement Magic”. She has been a part of the teaching staff since 1999 and Administrative Assistant since 2015.
Jessica Block was a member of Cumberland Dance Company (currently Pennsylvania Regional Ballet) until 1995. She returned to Pennsylvania after 14 years as a dancer, dance captain and dance supervisor for Carnival Cruise Lines. Jessica has been a ballet, pointe, and jazz instructor at HSD since 2009.
Kimberly Dotts studied classical ballet, tap, choreography, jazz and musical theatre in Fairfield county CT. She had the privilege of training under teachers from the New York City Ballet and the Rockettes. Before leaving high school, she began teaching ballet and tap. Kim continued dancing during college and graduate school. She is actively involved in the community — coaching cheerleading and choreographing the children’s musicals at Grace United Methodist church. Kim is thrilled to return to teaching dance and encouraging young dancers.
Emily Drobnock was a student at HSD since the age of four and loves to still be a part of the Hershey School of Dance family. She has taught for Exhalations Dance Theatre at Duquesne University and Expressions at Millersville University. Emily owns Knock Knock Boutique on Chocolate Avenue. She has been an instructor with HSD since 2012 and is thrilled to be instructing ballet, jazz and contemporary.
Kaylee Dugan is thrilled to be teaching at Hershey School of Dance. She danced in high school and college while volunteering to teach at The Boys and Girls Club. Kaylee graduated from Millersville University with a Bachelors in Science and is continuing her career in public relations at Hershey Entertainment & Resorts. She has been teaching hip hop at HSD since 2015 and is very excited to be in The Sweetest Place On Earth!
Hollis Healy is originally from New York state where she grew up studying dance. She attended Penn State University and was a member of their Orchesis dance company. Hollis taught modern, tap, ballet and jazz classes in State College and Harrisburg, as well as kinderdance and special needs classes. Hollis has been an instructor with HSD since 2004, teaching jazz and theater dance.
Ashton Jeppesen has studied and taught dance for more than 10 years. She has a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with an emphasis in Health and Nutrition. She uses her knowledge of kinesiology to explain and teach proper technique. She has a passion for not only the expression of dance but the technical part of dance. She has had the opportunity to dance for the professional dance company, Odyssey Dance Theatre, as an apprentice dancer. She studied ballroom in college, and was on the Utah Valley University Ballroom team. Ashton has taught all style of dance including ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, contemporary, lyrical, and many types of technique classes. Ashton is excited to bring positivity and discipline to Hershey School of Dance.
Myah Koepfer is currently attending Penn State Harrisburg majoring in Communications and minoring in Theater. Although Myah has been studying at HSD for 15 years; she is beyond thrilled to explore this new chapter of teaching others. She is ecstatic for the opportunity to continue to be a part of the HSD family—right beside the people who helped shape her into not just the dancer, but the human being she is today.
Kristen Murray was a choreographer for cheerleading competitions during high school. After studying hip hop, tap and jazz for 5 years and serving as a dance assistant at HSD, she became a member of the hip hop staff in 2003. Kristen graduated college with an Associate’s degree in Medical Assisting and is Zumba certified.
Jenn Owsley is a graduate of Messiah College, where she danced and choreographed for Acclamation Dance Ministry. She is certified in elementary education and is a substitute for Derry Township School District. A student of HSD since the age of five, Jenn has been on the faculty as a tap and hip hop teacher since 1998.
Emilie Thomas was a student at HSD for 14 years studying all styles of dance prior to joining the staff as a hip-hop instructor in 2011. She graduated from Temple University where she continued to study dance and take classes at Koresh Dance Company in Philadelphia, all while commuting home every week in order to teach her own. Emilie is dedicated to sharing her passion with others and couldn't ask for a better dance family.
Sara Thomas started dancing with HSD at the age of four and has been passionate about dance ever since! She became President of the Gettysburg College Dance Ensemble, teaching and participating in classes of all styles. Sara has danced in school productions of Cinderella and West Side Story. After college, she lived in New York City for three years before returning to pursue education at Millersville University. She recently received her post-baccalaureate teaching certificate for English 7-12 and Library Media Specialist. Sara is delighted to return to her home studio combining her love of teaching, ballet, and jazz!
Jilian Treadway was a student at HSD for 14 years prior to graduating from Lycoming College with a degree in psychology. Jilian enjoys teaching and sharing her love of tap with her young students who are so eager to learn. She has been a tap instructor with HSD since 2004.
